Group lyrics analysis

"Into the streets, we're coming down We never sleep, Never get tired Through urban fields, and suburban life Turn the crowd up now, We'll never back down Shoot down a skyline, watch it in primetime Turn up the love now, listen up now, turn up the love Who's gonna save the world tonight? Who's gonna bring you back to life? We're gonna make it, you and I We're gonna Save The World tonight Ohoh oh oh, oh oh ohoh oh [x9] We're far from home, it's for the betterWhat we dream, it's all that mattersWe're on our way, unitedTurn the crowd up now, We'll never back down Shoot down a skyline, watch it in primetime Turn up the love now, listen up now, turn up the love Who's gonna save the world tonight? Who's gonna bring you back to life? We're gonna make it, you and I We're gonna Save The World tonight Ohoh oh oh, oh oh ohoh oh [repeated til end]" Axwell from Swedish house Mafia said in an interview with Artist Direct when the song was first released that "We wanted to make something that sums everything up after a two- or three-hour DJ set. It connects everybody to something pretty emotional and uplifting. We wanted our own end of the night track, and that was the idea behind 'Save the World.' We got this vocal from John Martin, and it was awesome to work with. It was a pleasure structuring the track with all of the parts. The challenge that we had was to make it energetic enough. Sometimes, when there are so many melodies, instruments, and vocals, it's hard to make the track uplifting. However, we managed to get the energy in there."
The first verse                     "Into the streets, we're coming down                  We never sleep, Never get tired                  Through urban fields, and suburban life" brings up the issue of there being problems in the street and this matches the visuals in the music video. Urban suggest a rough area where many problems could accur, which may be why they added it because by saving the world they want to resolve and stop this issues and urban areas may be where it accurs the most. In this song they are singing about saving the world and that is theyre dream. If everyone is united and on the same side then thats all that matters and they believe they can save the world. The lyrics 'turn the crowd up now' relates to the volume of the music, the 'crowd' are conveyed as music and the louder the music gets the louder the crowd will be, also portraying that they are having a good time if there is a lot of noise. 'We'll never back down' shows determination that they will not give up untill they save the world. Also these two lines  show that the louder the noise the crowd makes the more they want to hear Swedish House Mafias music and then they're saying they'll never stop playing their music as a group or it could connote the idea of never backing down and trying to save the world.
The chorus  "Who's gonna save the world tonight?      Who's gonna bring you back to life?              We're gonna make it, you and I              We're gonna save the world tonight"connotes that they are telling the audience in question and answer form that they can save the world aswell as the audience listening.Axwell from Swedish house Mafia said in an interview with Artist Direct when the song was first released that "We wanted to make something that sums everything up after a two- or three-hour DJ set. It connects everybody to something pretty emotional and up lifting. We wanted our own end of the night track, and that was the idea behind 'Save the World.' We got this vocal from John Martin, and it was awesome to work with. It was a pleasure structuring the track with all of the parts. The challenge that we had was to make it energetic enough. Sometimes, when there are so many melodies, instruments, and vocals, it's hard to make the track up lifting. However, we managed to get the energy in there." Also this show Swedish House Mafia could be conveying that the audience are capable of helping out each other and saving the world. This is displayed through the use of the pronoun 'we're' as it describes a whole group of people, so in this case its the audience watching.
"Ohoh oh oh, oh oh ohoh oh" Sounds like a crowd cheering, as it sounds like a wave of noise. Which relates to clubbing because of the noise of everyone singing/dancing but it also relates to music concerts for the crowd cheering/singing.
"We're far from home, it's for the better" -I think that this could be representative of Swedish House Mafia being on a tour which is not in Sweden, and that would therefore be seen as being far from home, and then I think that the phrase ‘it for the better’ could then mean that they don’t mind being this far from home because they are entertaining their fans and making them happy therefore they think this is better than being at home where they may not be able to do this as much. I also think that this line could also mean that the people who are saving the world are far from where they live maybe but that is okay because what they are doing is saving the world and is that means being far from home to do that then they will travel ‘far from home’ I also think that this could mean that distance doesn’t matter, and they will travel as far as they have to in order for them to save the world. Then the phrase ‘it for the better’ could mean that they will travel far in order to save the world.  For the music video which I will be producing I will have the after math of the event.

"What we dream, it's all that matters" – this could be that Swedish House Mafia put their dreams first before everything, and they are telling their audience that they could do that same to get to where they want to be and in order for them to live their dreams and make it happen.  This is shown through the last line of that phrase which is ‘it’s all that that matters’ I think that this shows that by putting dreams first they can be achieved. I also think that this could me that all these people care about is saving the world, and that, this is all that matters. For the thoughts of my own music video would be to convey someone giving up their time to save someone else and have them risking themselves for the better.
"We're on our way, united"I think this is a bold statement, the word ‘we’re’ suggests Swedish House Mafia referring to themselves and the audience together. And then I think that this is further enhanced by the word ‘united’ as this can be a reference to a group of people getting a team, I think that it can also been seen as two different types of people being brought together. I think that this could also be seen as the people who are saving the world that they are talking, and they are saying to people that together they are able to save the world. I think for this verse I would have the other narrative and show the hero of that narrative.
